A great field trip for classes, day cares and home-schoolers!

The programming for the 2009 Fat Cat Children’s Festival builds on our traditions of world-class performers, from within our region as well as nationally and internationally, but also offers significantly more entertainment and hands-on learning opportunities. Geared to elementary-aged children the stages will offer programming at both the primary and intermediate elementary school levels. In addition, we will have a series of special hands-on workshops and activities such as Djembe Drumming, Pottery and Painting for the kids to get a very ‘up close and personal’ art experience.

In 2008 we had over 550 students from 20 schools participate and for 2009 we anticipate doubling this number.
